THE PACKAGING

Too Faced Cosmetics never disappoint when it comes to packaging and the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette is no exception. Similarly to the Chocolate Bar Palette, the product comes in an adorable chocolate bar themed box. Once opened  you will discover the cutest pink palette with gorgeous hearts embossed  all over it. Ultra pretty and feminine.

The packaging itself is made of metal and sleek in design. The magnetic closure makes this palette easy to store and travel friendly.  The layout is similar to what we have seen in previous Chocolate palettes, 16 shadows with two neutral shades in large rectangular pans. What makes this palette different and eye catching is that 14 eyeshadows come in the most gorgeous heart shape pans! I can’t even! It so girly and aesthetically pleasing, such a great concept.

THE PERFORMANCE

The palette has a great mix of warm, cool and neutral colours, comprising of  10 shimmery and 6 matte shades. Most of shades are highly pigmented, buttery and easy to  blend with or without a primer. I did find Divinity to be a little bit powdery, leaving some fall out. I also found Black Currant to be rather patchy, even after wetting the eyeshadow brush.

Apart from these two shades the rest of the palette performed very well, exactly what you would expect from Too Faced. The colours all work harminously together to create some lovely everyday looks as well a few beautiful pops of colours for when you are feeling adventurous. I found the eyeshadows to be smooth, pigmented and very easy to blend.

Here are some looks I created on my lovely model with the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Overall I found this to be another great addition to the Too Faced Chocolate collection. It’s a well thought out palette with beautiful pigmented shades, that last all day long and of course you can’t forget that Too Faced signature chocolate smell that makes me crave chocolate so badly.  At $78AUD the palette is pricey but most definetly worth it, with 1gram of product in the heart shaped pans and 2.2 in the rectangular ones this palette will last you a very long time.
