REVIEW: EMINENCE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE HYDRATION MASQUE

My love for a good mask is no secret, so naturally I was thrilled when Eminence  gave me the opportunity to test out the Chocolate Mousse Hydration Masque. With the promise of hydrated skin and an irresistible chocolate smell, I put this mask to the ausbeautyandskincarereviews test.

WHO ARE THEY?
Eminence is luxury skincare brand that originated in Hungary but has since had massive success worldwide. What I love about this brand is their ethics and commitment to keeping the earth green. From growing the produce, to the product packaging, they ensure each step of the way is green and not harmful to the environment. All of Eminence’s products are organic and natural and their promise to plant a tree for every product sold is a brilliant cause that I am happy to support.

THE PRODUCT

The Chocolate Mousse Hydration Masque is jam packed with vitamins and organic ingredients such as Macadamia Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil & Ginseng. Not only is this mask super hydrating but these ingredients help to fight the signs of aging. The other key ingredient is Cocoa, it makes this mask smell absolutely amazing, just like chocolate. Even the mask itself looks like chocolate, thick, mousse like in texture with a rich dark brown colour. Good enough to eat!

The mask is really easy and quick to use.  Eminence recommends applying a small amount to your hand, add a few drops of water, mix together and then apply evenly to your face. Leave on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse off with warm water and a cloth. I ended up leaving the mask on longer then the recommended time. Partially because I wanted all those oils to absorb into my skin and also I was loving that chocolate smell. It even comes with a nice, little spatula, which I am sure those ladies with long nails will appreciate. There is nothing worse then getting product stuck under your nails.

After the first time using the Chocolate Hydrating Masque I was very impressed with my skins texture. It was so smooth and really, really soft.  I continued to use the mask twice a week for over a month and noticed that over time my dry patches were significantly reduced and the dehydration lines on my forehead were gone.

The only issue I have with this product is the price, at $91 AUD it’s definitely a luxury purchase.   The reason for the high price is due to all the ingredients being organic. Organic ingredients are always expensive as they are much more difficult to produce and source. This is what I feel will be the deciding factor for people.  Bare in mind,  although the initial outlay is expensive, a little goes a long way so I can see this mask lasting a long time. After more then a month of use, I have barely made a dent in the product.

CONCLUSION

Overall I loved using the Chocolate Mousse Hydration Masque. After prolonged use I definitely saw an improvement in my skin. My skin looks visibly hydrated and is silky smooth.  The ethics behind the brand are fantastic and something I am very happy to support. I do however think the mask is pricey, but if you have some spare cash and are looking for something luxurious to treat yourself with I would highly recommend this for all skin types and ages.

Until next time lovelies

It was such a wonderful article dear and from my side I want to say that i am using manuka honey & mafura oil from long and its really effective. This intense conditioning deep treatment infuses hair with a powerful dose of moisture and nutrients.
