WHO ARE THEY?

Nip & Fab have only been in Australia  for a few years but are dominating the skincare market, with affordable prices, mostly vegan ingredients, proven results and glowing praise and recommendation from Kylie Jenner, Maria Hatzistefanis (also founder of Rodial) has come up with the goods!

WHY I LOVE IT?

The Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads are my absolute favourite product from the Nip and Fab line, as it is the perfect way to introduce your skin to the world of acid exfoliation.

Exfoliating with acid is by far one of the most effective ways to get beautiful, glowing, acne free and wrinkle free skin. The key ingredient in the pads is Glycolic acid.

Glycolic acid is proven to do the following:

  • Reduce acne
  • Plump skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles
  • Hydrate skin
  • Minimize the appearance of pores

The other key ingredient is hyaluroinic acid, which is known for its amazing hydrating and moisturizing properties. To put it into perspective 1 gram of hyaluroinic acid is able to hold up to six litres of water. Imagine what that could do for your skin!

Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix  Daily Cleansing Pads are easy to use and  come in a travel friendly plastic tub.  Not to mention are very affordable, at $29.95AUD it’s certainly not going to break the bank.

HOW TO USE IT?

The tub contains 60 soaked pads (approx 55mm diameter) which you gently wipe  across your face and neck in circular motions avoiding the eye and mouth area. For the best results I recommend using them both morning and night after washing your face and following up with a moisturiser.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Whether you have aged, wrinkled skin or  young, acne prone skin these pads treat have a variety of common skin issues as mentioned above.

Sensitive skin? New to acid exfoliation? With only 2.8% Glycolic Acid these pads are one of the most mildest forms of exfoliation out there, so you can comfortably build up your skins level of  tolerance to the product.

WHAT ARE THE CONS?

Everyone’s skin is different and therefore reacts in many different ways. Glycolic acid may not work for your skin and as with any skincare item, I highly recommend you perform a spot test and make sure you skin doesn’t react to the product  before applying it to your whole face and neck.

The other con, well not such much a con, but more of a warning. When using acid on your skin you MUST, MUST, MUST use sunscreen. All acids will make you skin more susceptible to the sun harmful rays, causing pigmentation and potential damage to your skin. I recommend using a SPF 50+ formula and applying it every day, whether it be sunny or not.
