REVIEW: CHI CHI NUDES EYESHADOW PALETTE

I love Chi Chi, it’s a proud Australian  cosmetics company, that’s affordable and stays up to date with the latest makeup trends.  One of my favourite products are the eye shadow palettes, in particular the Nudes palette.

What attracted me to this palette was the colours, an oddly familiar colour combination. Did you notice it too, dear reader? It’s almost the perfect dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette, but unlike this cult classic the Nudes palette is very reasonably priced at $22AUD.  There  are 12 beautiful, highly pigmented shades, 16 grams in total, all shimmery colours that work harmoniously together.

The downfall? The more glittery shades do have a little bit of fall out, so I  recommend setting your under eye area with a powder so you can use a brush to sweep away the fallen eye shadow.

Overall I think this palette is a must have whether you’re a beginner or a make up artist. It’s a great place to start your collection and your can create many different looks transforming you from day to night. Hey there! love the review!

My name is Sandy and I’m in my 20’s,

I am very new to eye shadow and being Asian I find it difficult to create an eye look that is soft and gentle. I also have tanned skin and am not sure which colours would suite me, what colours would you recommend for someone like me in the Chi Chi eye shadow pallet? xx

      Hi Sandy,
Thank you so much for your comment. We would recommend the Rich Gems palette from Chi Chi. As the name would suggest it has rich, strong, vibrant colours that would compliment your skin much better than the paler shades in the Nude palette. Hope this was helpful.
